GOLD MEDAL GALORE FOR WALES IN COVENTRY

Fantastic results for our children’s team at the British transplant games in Coventry. They won 6 Gold medals, 1 silver and 1 Bronze. What a great result for such a small team.
Zoianne Flood was awarded the Lee Roberts cup for Special Achievement. Congratulations Zoianne.This her first games too!
Kieran Heycock achieved his goal of winning two Gold medals and a bronze in swimming.  Lewis Akrill won his first ever Gold medal in the ball throw, before sustaining an injury in one of his races. Luke Campbell won Gold in the Long Jump, 100m, and 200m. Ella Day won Silver in swimming.
Well done all of you, we are so proud of you. Hope you had a great time and a big thank you to Jill for all the hard work in organising the weekend. Thank you again to Diane’s aunt, Pat Hunt, for sponsoring the children.
I must not forget, the only adult to compete this year, Ian Hillier, won Gold in the golf. A great result all round!
